New York University Selects AdvanceTEC for Cleanroom Construction of its Rogers Hall Renovation Project

Skanska USA Building and AdvanceTEC launching another advanced university cleanroom project

Richmond, VA, October 19, 2015 – AdvanceTEC, a leader in cleanroom design, construction and process tool installation, today announced that it has been selected to provide the cleanroom construction for New York University’s Rogers Hall renovation project. The renovation of Rogers Hall, the heart of the School of Engineering campus and its largest and most robust building, is a core focus of the school’s campus transformation. The overall renovation seeks to address current facility limitations and factor in the requirements for future growth, including accommodating new laboratory space.

AdvanceTEC was selected for the project following a competitive bid process, which highlighted their technical competency, cost effectiveness and team execution approach to the project. AdvanceTEC will work in concert with the full project team, led by Skanska USA Building. AdvanceTEC and Skanska have previously performed together on numerous successful university projects.

“We are pleased to again be working with AdvanceTEC on this important project for New York University,” stated Brian McGowan, senior project manager at Skanska USA Building. “AdvanceTEC has proven that they understand how to operate safely on an active campus, and know what it takes to deliver successful university cleanroom projects to specifications and budget. They recognize that teamwork – with NYU, Skanska, and the other partners on the project – is critical to ultimate project success.”

“Skanska and AdvanceTEC have a proven track record on delivering successful university cleanroom projects,” noted Bryan Phelan, AdvanceTEC managing partner and director of sales, marketing and preconstruction services. “Our project execution approach focuses on understanding the client’s requirements, and engaging the full project team with respect and open communication. This allows us to work together to identify and address any issues upfront before they become problems. The net result is consistently delivering projects on schedule, on budget, and to expectations.”
