Richmond, VA, April 22, 2013 – AdvanceTEC, a leader in cleanroom design and construction, today announced that it has initiated Cleanroom Construction of Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation’s Manufacturing Plant and Research Center in Cayce, South Carolina. Nephron, a privately owned manufacturer and market leader of generic inhalation solutions, will utilize the facility meet increasing demand, expand its product line to include opthalmic and injectable medications, and provide space for high volume contract BFS (blow fill seal) manufacturing.

Located on a 60-acre parcel in Lexington County, the 473,000-square-foot facility marks a $313 million investment by Nephron and is on schedule for completion in the first quarter of 2014. Since its selection, AdvanceTEC has been performing design, coordination, and preconstruction services, and has recently mobilized the site for “clean build” construction. AdvanceTEC is working in concert with the full Nephron project team, which includes ACi Incorporated, Affiliated Engineers, and Jack Jennings & Sons Construction.
