Richmond, VA, October 24, 2013 – AdvanceTEC, a leader in cleanroom design and construction, today announced that it is entering the construction stage of George Washington University’s Science and Engineering Hall (SEH) project. On this project, AdvanceTEC is working with Clark Construction, the project’s construction manager. The SEH facility will offer world-class, collaborative research and learning in engineering and science – including nanotechnology, as well as provide a state-of-the-art, yet flexible, space for students and faculty to conduct research and interact with corporate and government partners.
AdvanceTEC was awarded the project in after an intensive competitive bidding process. The selection was based on the company’s technical expertise and project execution methodologies. To date, AdvanceTEC has completed full BIM model coordination of the cleanroom work, including the ultra pure water systems and high purity piping. Currently, the company is installing predecessor work integrated with the base building construction and will be entering multi-phased clean build construction starting this spring.
