Tim Loughran - Managing Partner- was formerly the Manager of Design/Build Services for Performance Contracting, Inc. in Richmond, VA and Division Manager for the Cleanroom Engineering Division of Cleanroom Products. He has nearly 25 years experience in the cleanroom industry and has published papers on numerous subjects including Clean Packaging Technology, Fan Filter Evaluation, Air Shower Performance, Matrix Development, Value Engineering of Cleanroom Systems, and Design/Build Cleanroom Specification and Proposal Evaluation.

John Burton - Partner (Director of Engineering)- was formerly the Design Manager for Performance Contracting, Inc. and Senior Project Engineer for the Cleanroom Engineering Division of Cleanroom Products. John has nearly 15 years experience in cleanroom systems design and has personally overseen the design and construction of over 100 cleanrooms from Class 1 to Class 100,000. He has a B.S. in mechanical engineering and is currently certified in plumbing engineering.  With a strong overall knowledge of architectural, electrical, structural, controls, and process systems involved in the construction of cleanrooms environments, he provides a streamline path to design and coordinate all aspects of cleanroom construction.

Bryan Phelan - Partner (Director of Sales and Preconstruction Services)- was formerly a regional sales manager for Cleanroom Engineering and involved in worldwide sales and applications for semiconductor process and infrastructure firms such and Entegris, LTX Corporation, and ReVera Corporation where he was their Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Bryan has over 15 years of industry experience serving customers and managing project implementations.

Michael Fowler - Sr. Project Manager- Mike has been a project superintendent and project manager in the cleanroom industry for over 15 years. Previous to joining AdvanceTEC Mike has spent the last 8 years as Performance Contracting Inc.’s lead Project Manager for their work at IBM, Intel Corporation and The University of Albany’s Sematech East facility and has completed several wafer fabrication construction projects for AdvanceTEC at Semisouth Laboratories in Strakville, MS and Nitronex Corporation in Durham, NC as well as leading AdvanceTEC’s Research University Market segment.

Rhonda Bledsoe - Project Manager- Rhonda has been both a design and construction project manager in the cleanroom industry for over 15 years. Previous to joining AdvanceTEC Rhonda worked for Motorola, leading several process tool installation projects and for engineering firms such as Page Sutherland Page and Lockwood Greene Engineers. She has led the construction for AdvanceTEC at Purdue University’s Birck Nanotechnology Center and Merck & Company’s Primaxin Process Line Installation in Elkton, VA.

Neil Bonine - Construction Manager- Neil has recently completed several cleanroom projects that have been a turn key scope of work including United Therapeutics in Silver Spring, MD, MedInstill Inc, in New Milford, CT, CB Fleet Laboratories in Lynchburg, VA, and Norfolk State University, where AdvanceTEC served as the Fab designer and constructor including the cleanroom fab facility and process utility services.

George Medley - Project Engineer and Protocol Manager- George has served as the project engineer and protocol manager for AdvanceTEC’s projects at Semisouth Laboratories in Starkville, MS, and Duke University’s Center for Integrated Engineering, Medicine, and Applied Sciences (CIEMAS) facility in Durham, NC. In addition George served as the project coordinator for the $1.2 million process tool installation project for the CIEMAS facility.  

John Dusky Sr. PE - Commissioning & Validation Lead- John has 30 years of industry experience including Process Systems Design for Pharmaceutical Facilities and Commissioning and Validation responsibility for Fortune 500 companies throughout the world.  He has worked with AdvanceTEC, providing client consultation including process design review, source inspections (FAT’s), and Commissioning protocols for FDA validatable critical facilities as well as validation master plans and commissioning and validation work plans.

Richard Dean PE - Consulting Engineer (Mechanical)- Dickie has nearly thirty years of experience in Wafer Fab design, development, and construction. He has a proven ability to deliver innovative results that fully support client’s objectives and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with local and state code officials. He is a registered professional engineer for over twenty years and recognized as an industry leader in wafer fab design and management.

Jack Williams PE - Consulting Engineer (Mechanical)- Jack has twenty years of experience in facility design, process development, and construction. He has a proven ability to deliver innovative results that fully support clients objectives and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with local and state code officials. He is a registered professional engineer for over ten years and has worked with AdvanceTEC since their inception in 2000.

Ron Walsh PE - Consulting Engineer (Electrical)- Ron has been the lead designer on numerous projects for AdvanceTEC including Merck and Company, Unither Pharmaceuticals, Norfolk State University, and Nitronex Corporation in Durham. He is a licensed engineer in the State of North Carolina, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and Virginia and has supported AdvanceTEC throughout their growth.

Bob Hanchey - Site Superintendent- Bob has nearly 20 years working in and around cleanrooms and process systems in the Microelectronics, Semiconductor, and Pharmaceutical Industries. He has project superintendent experience overseeing the installation of Hi purity installations and hazardous gases, as well as DI water and hazardous exhaust systems.

Mike Roop - Site Superintendent- Mike has over 20 years working in and around cleanrooms and process systems in the Microelectronics, Semiconductor, and Pharmaceutical Industries. He has project superintendent experience, previous to AdvanceTEC, overseeing the installation of Hi purity installations and hazardous gases, as well as DI water and hazardous exhaust systems for Mechanical Specialties in Denton, NC. Recently Mike has been the MEP Superintendent on AdvanceTEC’s projects for Unither Pharmaceuticals and Duke University’s Center for Integrated Engineering Medicine and Applied Sciences (CIEMAS).

Wayne Bays - Site Superintendent- Wayne has over 25 years working in and around cleanrooms and process systems in the Microelectronics, Semiconductor, and Pharmaceutical Industries. In addition to his experience as a site superintendent prior to his employment with AdvanceTEC Wayne was a site superintendent for Lepco, Inc. and he has managed the construction of cleanroom facilities for over twenty years.

Steve Putnam- Project Design Lead- Steve is well versed in all aspects of HVAC and plumbing design having been a lead designer for several area Engineering Firms for over 20 years. In addition to his mechanical design experience Steve has substantial experience in structural and process design.
