Richmond Cleanroom Design/Build Firm Wins Experts’ Choice Award For Best Facility

Richmond, VA (Aug. 2007) – Richmond’s AdvanceTEC, LLC has been named one of the “most dynamic companies in the United States” on Inc. Magazine’s 2007 Inc. 5000 list.
The list was announced in late August. Inc.’s annual list features the country’s fastest growing companies ranked in order of percentage growth of revenue between 2003 and 2006. The companies will be honored during the Inc. 500 conference in early September.
“I am deeply honored that AdvanceTEC is included on the list this year,” said AdvanceTEC CEO Tim Loughran. “It’s extremely gratifying to see our name next to some of the nation’s leading entrepreneurs.”
AdvanceTEC has been honored both locally and nationally with several awards, most recently being named one of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s FANTASTIC 50 and the Richmond Times-Dispatch’s 2007 Rising 25. Other awards include being named on the 2006 Rising 25 list as well as a Company to Watch for the 2006 Virginia Capital Day. The company also recently won Controlled Environments Magazine’s top prize, the Experts’ Choice Award for Best Facility for its work on the Naval Research Laboratory Institute for Nanoscience.
Some of AdvanceTEC’s most recent projects include Altea Therapeutics, Duke University’s Center for Integrated Engineering, Medicine and Applied Sciences in the Pratt Engineering Building, Cambrex Biosciences, and Norfolk State University’s Class 100 R&D Nanotech Facility at the Marie V. McDemmond Center for Applied Research.
